12" Manitobah Mukluk-Black

Stay warm this winter with a pair of authentic handcrafted Manitobah mukluks created by Métis artisans in Canada. Decorated with beautifully detailed beadwork that reflects the heritage, customs and culture of the Métis people. Made with a cowhide suede exterior, faux fur trim, and a footbed wrapped in 100% sheepskin. These mukluks stay warm in winter, cool in summer, breathe naturally, and are environmentally safe. The crepe sole is a natural material that forms to the shape of your foot. Over time, a crepe sole will feel a part of you. It will mould over time to the shape of the wearers foot - just like traditional moccasins and mukluks always have. You will notice as you wear your mukluks that they are not shoes. They are not formed based on a standard foot mould like all your other shoes. These will take the one-of-a-kind shape of your foot. Enjoy a new freedom in footwear! To encourage the rubber to form faster, follow these steps:

1. Heat soles with a blow-dryer until soft and flexible (approx. 10 minutes).
2. Wear your mukluks as the crepe sole cools.
